IN-SESSION PRACTICE

Make a signal that a partner can turn on and off. Change its sign so someone can tell what the signal means without an explanation.

Run the session

Open a step for instructions

  1. Fix the battery box, switch and LED module to the pegboard following the supplied simple-circuit diagram.
  2. Connect the supplied leads with power disconnected; the trainer checks polarity before powering.
  3. Press the button, then release it. Replace it with the slide switch while disconnected and compare.
  4. Make a card sign around the light: choose a crossing, help point or workshop signal.

Carry this forward

Save the sign and a drawing of the circuit for the town; disconnect the battery and sort the kit.
